Tatiana P. Martino
Program Coordinator

Born and raised in San Carlos, now starting her career back in her home community. Tatiana has a B.S in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University, with an emphasis in motor development and motor learning. After completing her B.S, Tatiana obtained her 12 core units in early childhood education. She has been working with children since she was 15, as a baby sitter, coach, swim instructor, nanny, and community advocate. In her free time Tatiana enjoys hiking with her dog Tala or camping.

Melanie Macaraeg
Assistant Program Coordinator

Melanie is our Assistant Program Coordinator at Arroyo. She has a huge family with a ton of cousins and enjoys laughing and hanging out with all of them. Her favorite hobbies include exploring San Francisco, reading, and photography. Melanie absolutely loves watching all the Harry Potter films (proud to be in Ravenclaw). She is super pumped up to working SMART-E and to start this new adventure this year!

Benjamin Lockett
Program Aide

My name is Benjamin Lockett, but you can call me Coach Ben (hopefully by the end of this year it’s Dr. Ben). I was born and raised in San Francisco, and went to school out there most of my life. I received my BA in Criminal Justice at SF State, my Master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, Irvine, and currently completing my dissertation for my PhD in Sports Management at Northcentral University. I am the youngest of four boys. I love sports, marvel super heroes, and all kinds of TV shows in various genres. When I am not working or doing school work, you can probably catch me at a movie theater, playing with my nieces and nephew, or at home watching the Raiders. I am excited to be at SMARTE and help  you all have a memorable time.
